To contribute in the world’s effort in working out relief of poverty, preservation and protection of good health, the advancement of education, and the advancement of arts, culture and heritage.

To be a strong innovative contributor towards making our world better.

“Cordillera” pertains to extensive geographical chains of long mountain ranges. An example is the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in Northern Philippines comprising of 6 provinces and 1 chartered city, namely: Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Baguio City, respectively. This region highlights various native tribes with distinct but comparably similar ethnic-cultural identity. Despite the geographical boundaries or mountains separating these tribes as well as stories about incidental conflicts due to their tribal differences, they are still united for the common good such as protecting and preserving their land, culture and heritage.

The Cordillera Connection then relates this to its charity objectives. People can be separated by geographical, ethnic-socio-cultural or other natural boundaries but can be united in working out things for the common good. Our works initially started in selected areas of the Cordillera Region in the Philippines but we are aiming of expanding our works in other locations around the world. This will be determined by the availability of resources and volunteers.

RELIEF OF POVERTY

We believe that poverty is one of the reasons of environmental degradation and the developing chaos in the society. Helping alleviate poverty and giving hopes to disadvantaged people thru provision of needed health services, livelihood, education, and community development will help create a prosperous and peaceful society and making the world a better dwelling place for humanity.

PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH

Health is one of the basic foundation and make-up of an individual. Helping others, particularly the health-deprived and disadvantaged people will help them get onto their feet and be able to thrive. Helping to grow healthy individuals will create and promote a healthy world.

ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION
Every individual has the right to education. This will give them the opportunity for learning, development, and empowerment. It is our belief that helping out for the provision of education will give a room for people, most especially the economically disadvantaged, to improve and develop their personality, career, and everything that contributes to personal well being and as community.

ADVANCEMENT OF ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE

Each individual always seek for its belongingness. Helping people to maintain and take pride of their arts, culture, and heritage helps in the achievement of well being. Collectively, maintaining and preserving arts, culture and heritage contributes to the celebration of world’s diversity and giving privilege for future generations to experience and see.
