TCC-Hong Kong raise Php366K for chronically ill beneficiaries

TCC-Hong Kong, thru the just recently concluded Ms TCC and Ms Cultural World 2019, has raised a total amount of Php366k for their chosen beneficiaries in the Philippines.
According to TCC-HK Chairman Rose Ticag Amoy, from day one of planning, the event was initially agreed to support about five beneficiaries including the TCC Philippines Concert for Life Series which they had been sponsoring since the launching of team HK.

Candidates of Ms TCC and Ms Cultural World 2019, held at Pier 10 Central Hong Kong on November 10.

“The first three beneficiaries are Ms. Loida Tam-og Aberin, Mr. Ador Aswigue and Miss Alyssa Baguista. We have the fifth and sixth but they back out. Their reason is they can still manage and so others who are in need of help can be supported.
Now the candidates asked the organizing team if we can consider giving also their own beneficiary. We then agreed on their request since we can’t say no when it comes to people who are in dire need because as we understand, their chosen beneficiaries are chronically ill. We agreed with a condition that whatever they will share to their chosen beneficiary will come from their extra ticket sales after their qouta, which is a 30/70 % share. As the days and months progressed they again asked if they can get the 💯% share of their extra sales for their own beneficiaries. Given that there have been rules already set-up, my words in reply to their request ( I can’t say no directly considering the reason behind) is that if we can raised good enough we can give you your request.

Luckily, the organising team is so grateful that we can give them the full payment of their extra sales with an agreement that the full amount will be given to their respective chosen beneficiary. The full amount now shared by some candidate’s own selected 6 beneficiaries totals to HK$20,400 or Php132,192. This amount was shared according to the extra sales of every candidate who submitted her beneficiary. This amount was distributed today and the first beneficiary who took his share was Mr. Joel Banaken . Her sister Brenda took it on behalf of him. TCC-HK has willingly approved release of these funds to candidates who asked to get their share for their own beneficiaries.
Acknowledgement letter will be posted later after the beneficiary will received their shares.
Meanwhile, TCC-HK’s main beneficiaries will be getting their share from the proceeds after Sir Gregorio C. Taag will be back from his trip in Abra for a Regional sporting event. The amount remitted to TCC Philippines Bank Account was 234,000pesos, this is separate from the Php132,192 which are under the care of some candidates who initiated the move. The Php234,000 sent to TCC-Phils will be equally shared by the three beneficiaries mentioned above and the Concert for Life Series which is regularly sponsored by TCC-HK. This will mean additional funds for the initial 2 years worth of fund for the concert already provided by the group.
From the whole team of TCC HK we would want to thank all our supporters, sponsors, donors, to all the the ticket buyers here and abroad. Our photographers the ICI who captured every moves, to our videographers who documented the whole show. To all the audience who came despite the situation here in HK.
