TCC Volunteers, going to the wake of a beneficiary.

TCBCI/TCC has always been known as a group of people who shared a common vision – that of uplifting the lives of fellow Cordillerans in the aspects of culture and the arts as well as in the alleviation of suffering of chronically-ill people.

To date, it has already supported many activities to this effect and provided financial support to 39 beneficiaries. But what is more worth remembering is its charism in easing out the pain of loss of the bereaved families. Already, as of this moment, there are seven beneficiaries who have succumbed to their illnesses. And each time TCBCI/TCC goes there to share in the family’s mourning and grief through the gift of song, we cannot avoid but empathize with the bereaved.

This day, we again felt that way – grieving with our beneficiaries because in a way, they also contributed to our group’s overall image. They have brought a certain kind of feeling of achievement in us. Each time we went to sing for them and sing with them, we were superfluously content that indeed, we were given a chance to help them. This, indeed, is our greatest charism! And it will go on for the ages!
