Romeo Jacinto Sukaw Jr., a former scholar and volunteer of The Cordillera Connection sends her elder sister, Rhoda, to deliver his promise to sponsor a scholar. This is the penultimate rung in the hierarchy of volunteerism. TCC-Philippines Chairman Gregorio Taag receives his financial donation and thanks the former scholar for catching up with his advocacy and dedication.
It can be remembered that Romeo is one among TCC’s scholars who have completed their university education and are now professionals and are settled in their chosen careers. He was also an active volunteer of TCC who have been the charity’s forefront in the implementation of its charity’s projects. This is an evidence of his appreciation of TCC’s role in the society; another proof of what Clay Walker says in his song, “The Chain Of Love.”
