Benguet, Philippines- The 15 Scholars at the Benguet State University supported by The Cordillera Connection (TCC) and other individual funding partners based in other Countries particularly Australia and USA performed well last last semester as seen on their submitted grade results, as follows:
Meanwhile, an association of Filipino Teachers in Thailand Thru Ros Jansel donated Php5,000.00 pesos to help support TCC Scholars. TCC is proud of the teachers who are living with their advocacy in education, not only in view of professional teaching but also in terms social responsibility.

TCC-United Kingdom, the main arm of the charity, has also conducted BUILDING DREAMS CHARITY fundraising event on March 29 at St Boniface Hall, Tooting, London to fundraise for these scholars for the coming 1st Semester of SY 2014-2015. The event was organised and participated by TCC trustees, volunteers and various Filipino Talents based in London including former Miss Saigon Renee Montemayor and Top Model Worldwide Contestant Maddie Vulic. The charity event was able to raise £1,779.00 or Php131,000.00 from the event. This proceeds, as discussed during TCC Trustees Meeting on April 05, have now been allocated for TCC’s 5-slot Scholarship Program in Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMSU) Mid-La Union Campus in San Fernando City and the continuation of the Scholarship Program of TCC at the Benguet State University in La Trinidad, Benguet. The Scholarship Extension Project in DMMSU is a collaboration project with TCC Trustee Ela Hidalgo, a native of San Fernando, La Union.
